A new phase has begun. Back to the gym. First time since the surgery. Interesting experience doing the same exercises with more ease, but I must say that nearly 4.5 st. less makes a huge difference.

I was able to walk on the treadmill for 10 minutes, then almost 30 minutes of light strength exercises finishing with another 10 minutes on the stationary bike. I have managed to sweat and that’s what it’s all about isn’t it?

The most important thing is that I felt awesome. It simply couldn’t have been better. I must also point out that the new outfit size 3XL instead of 5XL also had an effect on my endorphin levels.

This was the first time that I didn’t feel sore the next day. I know that I won’t be “squeezing” 550kg on my legs again but more important is to be consistent. I hope my motivation doesn’t die after a few weeks. Keep your fingers crossed for me will you? x
