I finally went for my first longer walk. It was wet, and slippery because there was a lot of mud. It has rained a lot the last few days. Beautiful terrain in Woodland forest. Gola (my dog) was delighted, so many scents, although there were no other doggies.

Peace and quiet, I was able to put many thoughts in my head together. I was thinking about my return to the gym. Funny as I used to think how to avoid this place not how to return…. Interesting huh?

After 40 minutes I returned to the car park. I looked like I had bathed in mud, so did Gola. We went home. I was exhausted. I was happy to have lunch. Of course, I ate half the portion, as I still haven’t got used to eating 5-6 spoons instead of the full bowl or plate.

It is amazing how much walk can give back positive energy despite being tired. No wonder psychologists recommend walks in the woods as part of therapy for depression.
